GJ.SJ-301 is a silicon calcium neutral agglomerated submerged arc welding flux with a particle size of 2.0-0.28mm (10-60 mesh) and a alkalinity of 1.0-1.1, which can be used for both AC and DC welding. When using DC welding, the welding wire is connected to the positive electrode. The welding process has excellent performance, good slag removal, and beautiful molding. The characteristic of this flux is its small specific gravity and low dosage,This is one fourth of the original agglomerated submerged arc welding flux. Based on the Low temperature sintering theory and mineral crystallization theory, it uses catalytic technology to strengthen sintering to obtain reasonable sintering mineral composition and mineral phase structure, which is a professional front-end technology to promote iron increase and coke saving of blast furnace. The consumption under the same process parameters is only 80% of HJ431.
Welding flux SJ-301 can work with welding wires H08A, H08MnA, and H08MnMoA. Suitable for welding Q235 grade plain carbon steel and A, B, X42, X46 grade pipeline steel, as well as steel for pressure vessels such as petroleum gas storage tanks and liquefied petroleum gas cylinders. This flux can be used for single wire, double wire, and multi wire welding, especially suitable for double-sided single pass welding.
1. Welding flux SJ-301 must be baked at 300℃-350 ℃ for 2 hours before use.
2. Before welding, impurities such as rust, oil stains, and moisture should be removed from the welded parts.
3. DC welding should be used.
